Common questions
Do I need a card to start?
No. The 14-day trial needs nothing but an email address. You only enter payment details if you decide to continue.
How do my clients pay me?
You connect your own PayFast account and your clients’ payments settle directly to you. HomeInspectOS never holds your money. If you prefer EFT, your banking details appear on the invoice instead.
Can I use my own checklists?
Yes. A South African standard checklist covering damp, roof, plumbing, electrical and compliance certificates is included, and you can copy it and change anything you like.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It stays yours. You can export your jobs, reports and invoices at any time, and we delete your account data on request.
