Common questions
Who am I actually paying?
HomeInspectOS is a product of SEOPEAKS. Subscriptions are processed by PayFast and settle to SEOPEAKS, so SEOPEAKS is the name that appears on your bank statement and on your invoice. Payments your own clients make to you for inspections are separate and settle to your own PayFast account.
Do I need a card to start?
Yes. Accounts are activated on the first payment, so you choose a plan when you sign up. It is month to month with no contract, so if it is not for you, cancel before the next month and that is the end of it.
How do my clients pay me?
You connect your own PayFast account and your clients’ payments settle directly to you. HomeInspectOS never holds your money. If you prefer EFT, your banking details appear on the invoice instead.
Can I use my own checklists?
Yes. A South African standard checklist covering damp, roof, plumbing, electrical and compliance certificates is included, and you can copy it and change anything you like.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It stays yours. You can export your jobs, reports and invoices at any time, and we delete your account data on request.
